What makes us different?

Started in 2019, VDMD van lines relocation came about because of the big disconnect between what movers and moving companies in Gaithersburg said they do and actually do. Seeing as we weren’t able to find what we needed, we decided to create it.

Our venture has paid off because of an honest work ethic and drive, not just because we have a ton of experience. Spending 20 years cooking doesn’t necessarily make one a chef. We’ve grown because of our attention to detail and our commitment to doing a good job. That is the cornerstone of our moving services.

Our team here at VDMD is the reason we have been able to provide our customers with excellent and well-timed service for years.

I was very impressed with this company from the moment I spoke to Priscilla and her care and attention to the movers themselves. They took the time to familiarize themselves with my needs. They even made 2 stops along the way at my kids houses to drop off items. They took great care to assure the safety of my belongings and worked nonstop. I was very impressed as they treated me with such respect. I recommend them whole heatedly. I appreciated how they treated my family and myself like team members. They came , they saw, and delivered. Thank you!

The guys were very nice. They moved us from a 3rd story apt building and within 2 hrs had everything loaded in the truck. And had all of our belongings moved into our new home. They were amazing.

Fantastic job done by their movers. Wrapped with blankets, tightly taped, was actually very impressed. 4th floor with no elevators, they weren't complaining, just worked and were very careful. Very good flow and process they had. Followed up by management. But workers did a great job overall, will use again when we have to move in 10 months. Priscilla, Chris, E, they all did fantastic. Once again very impressed and highly recommended.

I hired VDMD Van Lines to help me move. I was a little weary because I thought the price was too good to be true as it was way under any other estimate. They were a little late the morning of, but I wasn’t bothered by that as they did call to let me know. Once they got there, it was amazing. Johnny and Jose worked diligently and quickly...the truck was half full before I knew it. We ended up asking them to take everything and not just what was on my list, and they did! There were no extra or hidden fees. The quote Priscilla provided was what I paid for with an other hour added by my request. These guy were amazing, and Priscilla was great in answering all my many questions! I highly recommend them for your move!

Great experience with VDMD, from the booking process through the move-in to my new place. Really appreciated the detailed contract via DocuSign prepared in advance and that they were willing to bring supplies for a reasonable additional charge. On the day of the move, John & his partner were on time & professional and couldn’t have been easier to work with (I was doing some last minute packing & cleaning which they politely ignored as they loaded up the truck with what was ready.) Pricing matters and this was such a good deal/reasonable price and ultimately took less than 3 hours! Thank you so much for making the stress of moving manageable. (To those who don’t know, tip your movers. Cash up front is your friend.)
